The Felder Flyers – The Extra Mile Brittany Challenge
Limesquare proudly continues supporting those taking on a challenge to raise money for charity, this time by supplying a vehicle to the 'Felder Flyers', enabling them to transport four bikes and associated equipment on their journey from Milton Keynes to Brittany. Their mission: to tackle The Extra Mile Brittany Challenge, a team relay cycle ride!
On 22nd September the team of four: Matt, Chris, Dave and Matt, who all work for the Felder Group based in Milton Keynes, headed off to Brittany to take on the 500 mile cycle route in just 3 days. The team have raised a considerable amount of money for two extremely worthy causes: national charity Macmillan Cancer Support, and local charity Willen Hospice (a registered charity providing care for patients based in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment).
The Felder Flyers have exceeded their target sum of £1200 with a total raised standing at an impressive £1916.24!
