Driving Benchmark to complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge
We're pleased to have been able to support 6 employees from Benchmark in their quest to complete the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge and raise in excess of £3,000 for their chosen local charities.
The 3 Peaks Challenge is a gruelling 17 mile trek with a total ascent of over 2300 metres across 3 of the highest peaks in Wales within 24 hours. The trek covers Snowdon in the North, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales and Pen y Fan in the South. It is a phenomenal test of endurance that the teams undergo and we're thrilled that the Benchmark team were able to fulfil the challenge.
Caz from Benchmark said of the experience, "The van was the perfect size and got us around all 3 mountains with no problems. The challenge was much harder than any of us expected but with lots of protein bars and team work we made it! We had no sleep for 24 hours and spent approximately 14 hours on the mountains. Never again! We would like to extend a massive thank you to Limesquare for sponsoring us and loaning us the van, we couldn't have done it without you".
